BaitoneAlpino Suggests: Museum of folk musical instruments
The Museum, founded in 2011 and managed by the S. Osvaldo Choir of Roncegno, houses approximately 1,100 folk musical instruments as well as numerous sacred texts from the 19th and 20th centuries. The instruments come from a wide variety of sources: Africa, India, but also small, remote regions of Europe and, of course, Italy! Many of them, aside from the wind instruments, can be tried out, accompanied by a guide who will show you how. So why not try the pedal-operated piano or the Tibetan bells? Also adjacent to the museum is the Music Park, divided into five areas with their own hidden plants and musical instruments. Have fun finding them all! To reach the museum, once you arrive in Roncegno, follow the signs for the church of Santa Brigida, located just above the village. Then follow the road towards the church, as the museum is housed in the old rectory.
