Tesero is a municipality in the central part of the Fiemme Valley, nestled between the Latemar (at the foot of the Cornacci, Cornon group) and Lagorai mountain ranges, and occupies the banks of the Stava stream. It has become a hub for international Nordic skiing, thanks to its Cross-Country Skiing Center, also used for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Surrounding the slopes are the precious forests managed by the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, an organization of medieval origin that over the centuries has enabled the care and protection of the Fiemme environmental treasure, a center par excellence for wood processing and production. The surrounding mountain areas are linked to the world of sports and outdoor activities year-round, from skiing to trekking, climbing, and cycling.
