BaitoneAlpino suggests: Muse Trento

The MUSE, located in the "Le Albere" district, was built according to the plans of the renowned architect Renzo Piano and replaces the former Natural Science Museum of Trento. It was inaugurated in summer 2013. On a total area of 19,000 m², divided on six floors, there is a lot to discover: The exhibition course is built like a mountain and tells from bottom to top about the formation of the Dolomites, the biodiversity in the Alps, the first human settlements and the emergence of living beings on the basis of the largest dinosaur exhibition in the Alps. The relationship between man and nature is the focus of the MUSE. Here, young and old visitors alike can learn how science and technology can be used to find future-oriented solutions for our planet. Using multimedia content and interactive elements, the MUSE offers an exciting journey through the world of nature and science, which is particularly enchanting for children, young people and families. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there is also room for innovative projects, events and numerous changing special exhibitions. Among the special areas inside the museum are the tropical glasshouse, the "FabLab" (Laboratorio di fabbricazione digitale, i.e. workshop for digital production) and the "Maxi Ooh!" for children between 0 and 5 years. In this area a special place is dedicated to them, where they can discover, play, understand and observe in a way that is appropriate to their age. Both real and virtual sensory stimuli are used for this. Have fun!
