Baitone Alpino suggest: Sentiero Busatte Tempesta

The Busatte Tempesta route is a panoramic tourist excursion that is located along the eastern shore of Lake Garda Trentino, consisting of sections of forest path that leads to three stairways clinging to the rock, from which to enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Garda. The difference in height is small despite following the slopes of Monte Baldo, so that it is also accessible to less hikers. However, it is not recommended for very young children. It is not a circular route so we are talking about 5 km for an hour and a half each way. The starting point for Torbole is to leave the car in the park of the Busatte Park, if you want to start the Busatte Tempesta walk in reverse, Tempesta hamlet, 7 km from Malcesine, and then on the other side of Torbole, then doing the stairway uphill. Along the entire walk there are descriptive signs of the flora and fauna present and of the panorama that embraces Riva del Garda and Torbole and the surrounding mountains. After passing the residues of the ice age, debris of the Marocche, you arrive towards a rocky part of the itinerary, which can only be overcome thanks to the suggestive staircase of steel steps set among the cliffs overlooking Lake Garda. Continuing the path, you come to a crossroads. Turning left, the path is uphill and joins a forest road near Tempesta and then descends and returns following the circular route. If you want you can follow towards Tempesta and return to Torbole by bus, usually one every hour. On the way back to Busatte, if you want to lengthen the walk a little, you can cross a beautiful olive grove. Remember that there are no refreshment points along the way and that in some places you are exposed to the sun. Bring food and water, and don't forget sunscreen, hat and hiking shoes!
